Ledge by Stacey McEwan
In a frozen world perched on the edge of a vast chasm, survival depends on enduring the cold, the hunger, and the terrifying rituals enforced by the mysterious Glacians. When Dawsyn is taken from the only life she has ever known, she is forced into a dangerous journey that challenges everything she thought she understood about her world. Atmospheric, fast-paced, and filled with tension, Ledge blends survival fantasy with high stakes and slow-burning character dynamics.

Ellyn stepped into this story and found…
What are your overall thoughts on the book? Wow. I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did, and I think I finished the book in about 4-5 hours. The world and storyline were so unique, and I loved the way that the characters and their dynamics seemed to unfold so naturally.
What stayed with you? The world was like nothing I had ever read before. I wish there were more backstory to the Glacians, and I would definitely read any prequels if they were to be written
Who would you recommend this to? This one is for anyone who wants strong world-building.
