If I am being honest

We had way too much in common

For the longest

The longest time

Look at you, look at me

All these promises of what could be

If I am flirting

Then it is just me confirming

Confirming my intuition

That got us into this situation

No need to lay down the hard times

Or step on this fault line

We have already been there separately

That is tired, now it’s time we transpired

I am ready to shine

This may be frightening

Maybe we are playing with lightning

I must ask who lit this spark

Just look at us coming out of the dark

I think you bit your tongue

Waiting for us to come undone

However I know I am starting to glow
