I woke up euphoric today

It was never going to be any other way

Back then I would of left him for you

I hesitated

Then he left me for someone anyway

Was I waiting for a star to fall?

I should of looked across the sky

There you were all along

Keeping me high

Knowing you’re the reason why

So, I hesitated

I waited

Lost my ground

Then you came right around

I guess I was already knee deep in my euphoria

I looked in the mirror

I saw your shimmer

Caught me offside

That you were my safeguard

A bad dream I had already walked through

Made me see you

There was no drama

We didn’t need to listen to karma

It can be loud

It can go down

Nothing is killing this

I did not initially know what I wanted

Didn’t know where I was not

Could not notice strife

I was walking on by

Until today I looked around and see you had saved my life
